Our Kiki was nearing the end of her life. She wanted to watch shows, which included the ST TNG Reading Rainbow (s06e01). After that, she wanted to sleep on the back porch.
We 3 did. She hopped up with me, curled up next to us, while we watched quiet shows on our phone.
I woke back up at 3am. I realized that kiki peacefully died laying next to me.
We were with her for almost 2 decades, and through thick and thin.
And already, our house is sad and quiet. I already miss her greatly.
