@arisummerland@beige.party I think of how much land my great uncle had acquired in the 1970's in Northern Ontario, and kick myself for not knowing that after he retired, he was having trouble keeping up the property tax payments. If I'd agreed to keep up the tax payments, I would have inherited about 1km of river-front property with old-growth forest on it.
