What’s very interesting to me right now about all this stuff is I am listening to Michael Hudson talk about how the rise of Roman oligarchy and its ability to obey taxation, eventually lead to the collapse of the Roman monetary system.
What happens when you move into oligarchy is they decouple themselves from the national monetary system

I’m shocked, shocked.
I’ve seen a number of news reports remarking on how zombie companies revive themselves by claiming something something crypto as a press release cause their stock to spike.
That sounds like a pretty good scam.. punters jump in, then you quietly sell off all the stock and pocket a bunch of money.
I wish.trading laws would be completely rewritten at this point

Yes, I’ve been through that article you went to earlier this week and that’s saying all the things of that’s happening in our dreadful little timeline.
It’s hard to understand if anyone can even protect themselves from the intrusion of crypto into any sort of portfolio.
It’s truly an epstein nation, in the federal government is now the chief financial investor, and client of the largest human trafficking and financial fraud organization, the world will ever know.

It is extra uncomfortable, because even the passing familiarity of the bullshit that went on as slid from being a republic into its last stage as an empire, and eventually to its disintegration.. We’ve all seen the story before.
The rich are building their Balkanized private economies. The process will mean that the national currency will slowly decay in utility. It happened to Rome.
