Question: When sharing something on Mastodon, do you tag the creator or not?

I would reach out to the creator and ask them if they want to be tagged on the art. 🖼️

I feel for me I want sharing content to be an altruistic act, because something you saw was cool or thought provoking and you want more people to see it.

I used to tag the creator, but realised I don’t want sharing something to be a thing which draws attention to myself (I should be making my own stuff to share if I want that!)

That said, sometimes the creator likes to know people are appreciating and sharing their hard work?
