I won an auction for an old NCR terminal recently. Got it for $2, since they clearly didn't realize what this is. (They had it listed as a CRT monitor.) If I were to guess, it's very likely 80s vintage. Having a very difficult time finding any info on this unit, though. The model number on the back doesn't provide much information. I need to track down a keyboard for it at some point.

Any pointers or advice?

@foxyloon@blimps.xyz Back in the late 80s, I used to make RS-232 cables for terminals connected to a System V server. I would guess that 25 pin connector can support that type of connection.

@Xavier@infosec.exchange I do have the 9-pin USB adapter dongle laying around, but I figured I'd need to make a 25-pin to 9-pin adapter.

Only thing is figuring out what the pinout is.

@foxyloon@blimps.xyz I think most 9-25 pin convertors will work. I remember having a huge box them them from different vendors. I think they are pretty universal, but I'm working off 40 year old memories.
