The dangers are dismissed in the article by suggesting that people can get training. No mention of the statistics.

@number6@fosstodon.org This statistic is wildly misleading. Most motorcycle fatalities are single-vehicle accidents where alcohol is involved and protective equipment is not. Don't be that person and your chances improve dramatically.
