Lmao so apparently there's a thing that's like bacterial vaginosis, aerobic vaginosis. They didn't discover this until 2002 cause nobody bothered to check whether BV with pain/irritation was maybe something different
The same treatments don't work for AV. 7-13% of women have it (many asymptomatic) and it makes up up to 25% of all vaginally infections
23 years later most doctors don't even know it exists at all
