One of the challenges about getting more senior in your career is that you're still able to do the stuff you always did, but you increasingly have to say "no" to those things as you take on new responsibilities and skills. Letting go of what you used to be the expert on can be hard sometimes.

I’ve pushed off 3 application pentest events this year to mentees because I was too busy making PowerPoint for senior leadership. Originally the plan was to do it with them.
The dollars are nice and I have a family to prioritize, but it really hurts to give up fun stuff so I can do tedious stuff :(
