@jexner@tooting.ch other than being able to make a scale and measure pleasure receptors of both types of people, I think this is a complicated question. ;) Maybe a neuro-vanilla person could learn to be as a neuro-spicy person and utterly relish and indulge in sex in a total sensory and physical way (beyond just genitals touching). Each could have hang ups and baggage, Each could really enjoy sex. I'm guessing it might be a percentage thing.... a higher percentage of neuro-spicy can and do enjoy sex more because of a dopamine drive, need for stimulation, oral fixations... sensory play, kink etc. Maybe we get more bang for the buck? We have whole nutritionally complex sex? So we are a seeded multi-grain bread, compared to white bread????
Or given neuro-spicy folks intersections with other rad communities (being queer, or kinky) we have learned better behaviors and communication, worked harder in life than those of the neuro-vanilla?

@Pomegranatepirate@kolektiva.social I hope your first part is true, and props for getting "more bang for the buck" into that. 🙂🙂

The second part sounds reasonable, too.

I was really wondering about the actual feeling, and yes, that is hard to quantify.

@jexner@tooting.ch better start designing a setup to test that! I wonder if anybody has thought of this in the sex-research world...

@Pomegranatepirate@kolektiva.social I would bet they have. Things like this, I suspect, fail due to lack of funding, not lack of ideas.
