Still not sure if Caves of Qud is any good. (180 hours of play)

I do like how dynamic everything is. Very much like Binding of Isaac, but a fully fledged RPG. But it has a lot against it. Like how suddenly you die/friends become foe/etc and you don't have a way of knowing why (thank god for roleplay mode) Or you need something immediately and you need to rely on RNG for it.

I do like the lore, though it gets dull, thankfully the writing is not as bad as Gene Wolf.

Ok, need to add a couple cents: the music is shit, and the graphics made me a bit sick at first (though it's better now) It's also a shame that the character sprite size is always one character (eheh). It kills the sense of scale on some of the creatures that should feel like they should be enormous.

I won't complain about the balance. It's extremely well balanced for a permadeath game that leans heavily on RNG (but of course I play in kitty checkpoint mode) I suspect you could get long winstreaks going.
