@mark@canuck.social great question! There are many small community solarpunk groups (on discord and other places) where people info-share all kinds of practical tips.

I live in Pittsburgh, so I get the "northern climate" aspect but solar is far more effective even at northern latitudes (for example) than people think.

(I was also impressed with the green belt plan in Ontario when I was driving through! You're ahead of the US in many ways up north)
