@wrog@mastodon.murkworks.net I was doing AI shit before I got into cybersecurity. This has happened about every 6-7 years since the late 2000s.
First, it was Watson on Jeopardy. How did that work out for IBM?
Then, automation through robotics was going eliminate large swaths of manual labor jobs during the mid 2010s, starting with the trucking industry.
Now, it's LLMs, and... meh. Someone's cried wolf too many times for me to get excited.
