@ibrahimtencer@mathstodon.xyz Link previews FREQUENTLY fail. I see bare links much of the time, as many other users have reported. On busy/slow sites the previews can be long delayed or sometimes never appear. I follow various people who have various interests. The fact that I follow them for a tech link doesn't mean I'm interested in a cooking link. It wastes my time and resources to click on links that somebody hasn't bothered to take the few seconds to describe. Period.

@lauren@mastodon.laurenweinstein.org then that's a problem with the site/app, not the people posting the links. And as mentioned you can always just not click on it.
