It's a very serious mistake to assume military can actually police. They're not trained to do that; even REAL military, let alone the weekend soldiers that National Guards are.
Anyone old enough to remember #KentState? This will end badly.
There are numerous police forces in DC: DC cops, "Capitol cops", Parks cops, Secret Service. What are they doing? Stood down?
Here's a brilliant idea: maybe he should have the National Guard take over his security from the Secret Service?
