@cub80_appleby@mastodon.stickbear.me If you wish to not interact with this person at all, and not allow them to interact with you in any way, you should block them, which will automatically unfollow them of course. I'm not sure if you can block someone who you've already unfollowed, but I'd think so, especially since they've favourited your post. So navigate to the notification that told you of the favourite, and you should be able to block.
@adam@fedi.adamm.cc I already did that though!
@cub80_appleby@mastodon.stickbear.me Oh, so you've blocked them, and they're still able to favourite your posts? That sounds like a bug in Mastodon to me.
@adam@fedi.adamm.cc Yeah!
@cub80_appleby@mastodon.stickbear.me I would navigate to their profile on your server, via its web interface, and confirm that the block is in effect. If it is, then discuss with your instance admin. If not, then hit the block button once again, even if you did it before, maybe it didn't go through. Just some ideas.
@adam@fedi.adamm.cc @cub80_appleby@mastodon.stickbear.me it's also possible that if they blocked the person when the person was boosting someone else they in fact blocked the booster.
@gtbray@mstdn.ca @adam@fedi.adamm.cc @cub80_appleby@mastodon.stickbear.me In this case, it's someone that had favorited one of Stephanie's post, that person had previouslly been blocked yet, the favorite still came through on her account.
@carrottop1023@mastodon.stickbear.me @adam@fedi.adamm.cc @cub80_appleby@mastodon.stickbear.me that is strange. usually once you block someone they disappear.
