Mission accomplished - the Sentinel-5A satellite is now safely in orbit!

It will now undergo calibration before starting its work for us: scanning and analysing the composition of the air we breathe.

Thanks to Sentinel-5A and other European Copernicus satellites, we will have more accurate pollution alerts to protect the most vulnerable, and improved aerosol forecasts for solar energy providers.
