Jeez - this government are such awful liars. What else could FRT be about except total surveillance society? There’s cameras in so many places already - buildings, banks, streets, transport…. Why is yet another layer of surveillance even deemed necessary? That FRT is very poor on identifying people of colour is alarming to say the least - it will lead to even more discrimination and wrongful exclusion for those people, just based on the colour of their skin.
