That feeling when you e-mail your very dear but terminally absent-minded friend to ask them about a technical matter on which they are an expert, and they reply to every single point in your e-mail apart from the one thing you specifically e-mailed them about... 😆
(So I reminded them gently, and got a reply saying, "ah, yes, as you see, I'm very distractable", followed by an extremely erudite explanation which I passed on to the person who'd originally asked in the hope that they understood it!)
