oh my god
you'd expect east/west road name split in a city to be at main street right
vancouver has their east/west split two blocks to the west at ontario street

@niko@gts.niko.lgbt In Cheyenne, most populous city of Wyoming by virtue of being a two horse town, there is a street with an east/west split at the nominal 0 block (there's no literal "Main Street," just US Highway 85 which itself goes by three or four names depending on where you are and also north-south roads are all avenues anyway in this clownshoes city and none of the street signs have a block number so you just have to kinda infer it's location from the vibe I guess) and anyway that street changes its name again at an arbitrary point a mile east of there.
Many. Such. Cases. And this one is mainly notable for the change actually being reflected in signage.
The only thing I hate more than Cheyenne is delivering mail in Cheyenne.
