I wonder if I removed the mentions of the rest of the system from my account how long it would take before we would get someone who had no idea that me and @vi@app.wafrn.net have anything to do with eachother.
Or the others for that matter when they get their accounts up.

@vi@app.wafrn.net Thinking about it more this is a stupid thing to wonder about, me and Vi are different to the point we would probably be able to sit in a vc with different accounts and different push to talk buttons and pass as entirely separate.

I've seen chat specifications with support for "masquerading" the author of each message; i.e. PluralKit but less janky because it's a native feature.

what if that existed but in calls . would that make sense to use

Right now on most platforms that do voice we get by on changing nicknames which is a bother and a half.
Or we just have to introduce ourselves over and over and over and over.
