@alberniweather@socialbc.ca I have overlaid previous fire area estimate (purple) with the more recent one (red). Some expansion to north, but most of expansion was to south. retreat from former estimated eastern boundary.

Nte the 2 red hot dots at southern edge in pic 3. Might point to fire ambers transported some distance in air to start fires ahead of main one. In Pic 4, shows location of fire relative to Albernu, 9.75 km from northern edfe of fire to southern edge of Alberni.
