@deilann@tech.lgbt There was a time when I wasn't complete garbage at probability math, but back then I was in school and actively practiced having to do math.
Not being in school combined with my brain not doing numbers well means that these days working out any of this stuff on my own would be practically impossible.

dyscalculia fucks me up as well the fewer numbers in my math the better i function which is prolly why abstract algebra and i get along so well

but the directionality weirdness still hits me hard

@deilann@tech.lgbt We used to be fairly decent at a few sorts of math where we just had to plot things in and follow the formula and out came the answer, but then time has made us forget how to actually do any of those things.

@deilann@tech.lgbt These days we are hopeless without a calculator for more than the basics we absolutely need day to day, which is mostly just figuring out how much things are on sale at the store.

@tea@fedi.catboy.agency oh i can't trust my arithmetic at all and i do math every day i don't even trust my calculator input because i'll swap numbers around, so i do it several times often in more than one way

@deilann@tech.lgbt The only thing I vaguely trust myself at is if I can manage to put things into a spreadsheet
