@EdwinG@mstdn.moimeme.ca Bell got deep subsidies to deploy fore to Îles de la Madeleine, yet once deployed charged ridiculous fees for any would-be competitor ISP to get bandwidth to mainland. Suspect the same for the fibre it is deploying to NFLD islands.
