Pic 1 is yesterday morning just before sunrise over moumtains. Pic 2 is about 2 hours later. (in between you can see smaoke start to appear and grow slowly).

@EdwinG@mstdn.moimeme.ca @alberniweather@socialbc.ca Considering heat and extra dry conditions AND the type of vegetation in BC (oily evergreens), I would expect a spark would grow into very visible fire pretty quickly.
