My new MP is “Dr” Matt effing Strauss, of anti-vax fame. He was also a hand picked candidate who doesn’t live in the riding, yet narrowly won over our Liberal MP (a neighbour, who was a great representative). Strauss was relegated to the backbench in the bloated CPC shadow cabinet too. He was chosen to appeal to the anti vax crowd, I guess…yet the party doesn’t want to reward him? Weird. 😂
