Deleting old email causes servers to access archived data. That creates extra work, generating heat, requiring extra cooling. There is no reason to delete old email or pictures. It wouldn't be a drop in the bucket of water AI is devouring to lie to the public for the benefit of corrupt politicians and fascist billionaires, and might INCREASE water consumption because that old shit just sits on archival media that might not even be powered up unless someone accesses the content.
