@duckyfella@cupoftea.social I like how the UK has actual public transport. We have it better than most people in the US, but billionaires actively pay to scuttle attempts to create or improve it. I could probably take a bus, if I had a ride to a stop, trains- Same, but I haven't ridden one in decades.๐

@AdamOnza@mastodon.online Youโre right itโs pretty good in the UK! But still lots of room for improvement. Uptake could be so much better, too. The general UK population are very pro-car right now.
My coworkers seemed utterly flabbergasted that I would decline a lift home and opt to walk, as if walking is a tragedy and Iโm an idiot for willingly doing so ๐ฎ![]()
It seems to blow some peopleโs minds that itโs possible to live life without a car outside of a city
