a pretty big misnomer is the idea of a scenario or feature being seldomly encountered, the return on investment for making it intuitive is too low and therefore not worth the effort.
it is literally BECAUSE the scenario is seldomly encountered that it absolutely needs to be intuitive or else the rush impact just becomes that much greater.
