The other day you were on top of a thread about data scraping. There was talk in the thread about legal action, but that requires a bunch of users and I don't have the exposure to attract them. What do I need to do to get large systemwide accounts to reblog/discuss actually making a difference instead of just relaying news stories?

I feel like there needs to be some kind of system-wide announcement we can rely on broadcasting to every user. We need a message that saya something like: "if you want to be involved in a class action for the privacy invasion you suffered..." If we could have every user see that we could have a meaningful act. Is
#Mastodon even designed to facilitate something like that? Decentralization could have made that less feasible.
