@G3rt@mastodon.uno So what's wrong with #Microsoft? Is it bad, that Microsoft is using your code to train AI? Because they make money with AI?
@TheFox21@mastodon.social yes, It Is.
@TheFox21@mastodon.social yes, It Is.
@G3rt@mastodon.uno If it's not about money, what don't you like about AI? The AI-hype, or AI in general?

@TheFox21@mastodon.social The Nobel Prize to Hinton was an initiative expressing that power in search of legitimacy and authority.

@TheFox21@mastodon.socialAI First: AI is not reducible to LLMs;
Second: I have been programming and building AI systems since the early 90s. What I don't like about this AI is that it is an expression of the lust for money, power, and control.

"Microsoft and other companies are making money"
They always did. Ok, and now what? I don't get your point.
@TheFox21@mastodon.social @G3rt@mastodon.uno I don't like their LLMs to be trained on me, I think it's worse than just profiting. They're stealing our art, our code, our brain and I won't allow that

@devil@mastodon.uno @G3rt@mastodon.uno
So stealing is worse than profiting? How did they actual 'steal'? Stealing would imply that they have now something that you had before and now you don't have anymore.
So what exactly don't like you about their LLMs?

@TheFox21@mastodon.social Come on you know what I mean. If you have your private punctures on your computer and I make a copy of them behind your back, that wouldn't be stealing because you still have them? In the same sense I want my pictures to be my property without Google having to train AIs on them
