personally i'm not planning to migrate from github any time soon. the people who i'd've lost on ethical grounds have self-selected out long ago, i have basically no lock-in besides very heavy reliance GH Actions (which have no viable replacement besides gitlab maybe) and i'm counting on the process of corporate death to take a few years until it starts to cause actual immediate problems

Ngscopeclient is also very much an industry focused project not a free software ideology project. I'm trying to build a better tool for engineering professionals not cater to the whims of stallmanites.
The code is open source, if MS wants to suck it into their plagiarism machine they can do it just as easily if i host it elsewhere.
And honestly i expect all the copilot nonsense to go away or be pushed to paid enterprise tiers in the next year or so, once everyone leaves the "first hit is free" stage of the business model and starts charging actual operating cost plus profit on LLM hosting.
At which point I don't expect it to be causing me much trouble at all. But working on obscure niche problem domains I don't think I'm going to be dealing with much drive by spam compared to the likes of say libcurl
