It is so so sad that OpenAI removed o3 and o3 deep research...

GPT5 is just not at all as good, has way less context length and is way lazier.

I replaced my ChatGPT subscription with Gemini but their deep research is still not better then o3 deep research... at least it makes more effort and searches more sources then GPT5.

Would love to build such a deep research tool by my own but the search MCPs are all terrible and expensive.

One would need to have a vector search of all papers ever written then local deep research might become viable.
