If nothing else, the folk telling me my images are “ai slop” are being the most open about telling me it’s heartless, tasteless, and soulless too. They’re feeling free and safe in giving honest reviews, which is kind of a positive.

Absolutely not "AI Slop".
If there is a logical opposite to "AI Slop" then your images are it. You're creativity is an existence proof that AI cannot do better than a motivated and talented person.
Additional: Please block those negative commenting arseholes, life is far too short for all of that noise 🙂
