Having moderation being considered at the very start is sooo amazing! Now I wonder if at some point it'll be possible to bridge with my fedi stuff 🤔![]()

Oh I meant that Blacksky considered moderation at the very start. Bluesky did the usual nonsense of not implementing blocking up front, and their moderation is known for being anti-Black as well as anti-trans and anti-Palestinian. Also even at its best a "Twitter alternative" inherits Twitter's inherent problems (as well as what's good about it).
Still, the underlying architecture is flexible enough and Rudy saw how to leverage it to build a community that started on Bluesky but actually spans networks.
