Difficult not to speculate that imposing effective martial law on DC might have a simpler explanation than some are proposing. The Epstein files are still the biggest threat to the Presidency, and there are currently at least 1,000 federal employees who know what's in those files, because that's how many were tasked by the Trump admin to expunge any mention of the POTUS. The likelihood of an anonymous leak - perhaps, to a foreign outlet such as The Guardian - is high.
Is Trump just scared?
