1. Today is the middle day of a 3-day hot spell, it's still 90 degrees F outside at 8:30 pm. It was the perfect day for an afternoon swim with a friend. The water was cool and refreshing, and we spent an hour paddling about and visiting.

2. I came home after the swim in my wet swim suit, under a cover-up dress. I took the suit off and wore the damp dress for an hour til it dried--very cooling!

3. Tomorrow my husband has a pre-op phone call to learn more about the glaucoma surgery he will have on the 25th. We both have a number of questions, it will be good to get answers.
