Genuine question:

I'm not much of a coder. I dabble in html/css shit, and occasionally play legos with php. In light of today's m$ is folding github into their AI team announcement, I realized that just leaving a couple of low stakes repos idling on there untouched was more than I wanted to do anymore and deleted them. (I honestly hadn't pushed anything to either of them in a hot minute, even though one was the skin for the CMS I use for my RP and I have made recent changes.)

So, if I wanted to try to set up somewhere new to archive/version control shit like skins for cms or maybe like my personal sites using Grav... what's good? I have an account on codeberg because I had been watching/submitting bugs on a project on there. I think I also have one for whatever the Sharkey team is using to version control/colab Sharkey, but I think that's something they're self hosting.

So, recommendations?

I also have an account on gitlab as well. So, uh, let's make a poll and ask for boosts, yeah? People seem to like voting more than they like replying.

Where should I move if leaving github?

@deathkitten@firetribe.org git lab I am slightly more familiar with but I see codeberg getting a lot of praise. Frankly, I would be happy to see the latter succeed.
