I'd imagine Putin is extremely interested in a way out from this fiasco he created. However if he doesn't exit with something to show for it he's literally a dead man. Conervsely there's no way Zelensky can give up one inch of land after all the, atrocities that've occurred against the Ukrainian people. Therin lies the impass. Maybe a DMZ through the Donbas?

@mike@thecanadian.social Given everything I’ve read and heard about him the only way out he’s interested in is the end of Ukraine as an independent state. Anything less and he’s done.
