However, I worry about it bottlenecking the whole network since I'm broke as hell and can only afford garbage most of the time.
Not to mention it would introduce an extra step in the restart procedure in the event of a power outage.
Andrew Berry@socketwench@masto.hackers.town My guess is you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the performance. The typical issues are running DPI on the traffic, or pppoe limits on the BSD based systems (Linux has a better pppoe implementation)
