My #debian13 install went smoothly! I did a brand-new, clean install…
Good
- detected my Wi-Fi network card, which Ubuntu couldn’t do
Less Good
- installed with Japanese language pack set as default
- /etc/apt/sources.list file and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory were totally empty
Everything was an easy fix and it’s all working flawlessly! Got all the stuff I want installed and now just restoring my data from backup. https://infosec.exchange/@scottwilson/115011158179496070
