facebook keeps showing random red dots with numbers on their dating feature, but it only tells me to set up my profile when i click them. the settings page for the feature shows up blank. when i try to set it up (so i can turn it off), it ofc asks me for a bunch of info to fill out my dating profile.
so facebook's:
- adding fake notifications to entice me to go play with their dating bullshit
OR
- serving my profile to people on their service without my permission

i wish we'd stop using shitty, manipulative social networks en masse...
i dont want to be on facebook, but the larger free / for sale community and queer housing groups for Seattle are on there
