To those who criticise education for being not directly useful, or higher education for just being a way to certify people as employable—SO WHAT? Who cares what the reason is people learn stuff—learning stuff is good, and you DON’T NEED an immediate reason to learn stuff! Having a broad knowledge base will ALWAYS come in handy and loads of things you think you don’t care for to or wouldn’t ever use will EVENTUALLY be useful
