🇷🇺 The russian world reached Ljubljana!

Yep, the monument was inaugurated by none other than life long dictator, war criminal and khuylo of all the russias vladimir vladimirovič putin in 2016.

To celebrate the never-ending friendship between russia and the Republic of Slovenia.

And, I remind you, this was built in 2016, AFTER the russian war in Crimea and Donbas

How far russian soft power has gone...

Commemorative plaque of the monument whic states:

The monument was unveiled on July 30, 2016 by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor.

The project was implemented by the joint Russian-Slovenian organizing committee, the Embassy of Russia in Slovenia and the Russian Military Historical Society for voluntary donations from citizens and companies of
both countries.

The land was provided free of charge by the municipality of Ljubljana.

🇸🇮 I add an interesting historical fact.

Soviet soldiers never entered Ljubljana: the city was liberated by Yugoslav partisans, and after the war Yugoslavia didn't allow Soviet soldiers to be stationed in Slovenia.

But now there is a monument that say otherwise. And wherever a russian soldier set foot, as we all learned, it is russia.

So: SLOVENIANS!
