#Trump goes full dictator and announces that he will be seizing control of the Washington, DC Metropolitan police in a "historic action" designed to "take the capital back."
Trump announced that he will be deploying 800 National Guard troops to the city to battle "out of control" crimes rates.
That is a flagrant violation of The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 which expressly forbids the U.S. military from conducting “law enforcement” operations within the US.
