Got arbitrarily followed by an app trying to reinvent Ko-fi, but "for the Fediverse."

If I don't get donations for the random stuff I do (even from locals), why would I get it from international randos via a fedi thing?

Plus, it doesn't say how one gets paid out. If it's just PayPal again, is that really better than Ko-fi?

The real issue, though, is most could use more money right now. (You know, except Gates, Bezos, etc.) I'm doing OK, so why give to me when they need it themselves more?

Obviously need is different from like or want, so I absolutely wouldn't mind if locals tossed me a few $ because of my food truck directory project or others for $funRandomThing I did.
