@GottaLaff@mstdn.social Though most of the GOP tend not to live in the city and are suspicious of people they do not know. Not to mention, it doesn't take much to boost the crime stats in low-density areas, and many people feel a bit flexible on laws because the government seems to dictate what they can and can't do. At least that is what I see here, living in Texas between cities.
