If artificial intelligence is so intelligent, why do I hear about it being applied only to software engineering?
Does nobody apply AI to
bioengineering,
civil engineering,
electrical and electronics engineering,
mechanical engineering,
etc.?

@vnikolov@ieji.de @screwlisp@gamerplus.org coding is moving around a lot of symbols adhering to templates and best practices. LLMs are good at that. Theyβre not so good at coming up with novel solutions - so they suck at almost everything else.
@vnikolov@ieji.de it's much worse: https://gizmodo.com/prime-minister-of-sweden-dragged-for-admitting-he-uses-chatgpt-to-help-him-make-decisions-2000639765
Yes, it's bad in multiple directions.
(I think it's worth examining them separately, because the consequences may vary quite a bit and there are different kinds of bad.)
As to this case in Sweden, just an addition: let me repeat the well-known fact that rulers all over the world have been consulting astrologers and soothsayers for ages.
There never was a justification for such practice.
