@dalias@hachyderm.io @bagder@mastodon.social Google was also actively doing meetings with different government's lawyers at ICANN 2016 summer conference. They're relatively quiet about lobbying activities but are present in a lot of places.

Linux Foundation itself has been a front for Intel and Nokia in the past, for example buying domain names from individuals before large corporations announced OSS projects.
