FINALLY THE GODZILLA SONG!

i don’t remember hearing it at any moment in the movie.

this is not the best Godzilla movie but as a callback to 1954, they absolutely understood the assignment.

also, now i wanna see Pacific Rim again to see what else Del Toro stole from this movie.

@blogdiva@mastodon.social I can't be specific, but I had a strong feeling of disliking the vibe of this Godzilla #Monsterdon in the same way I disliked the vibe of Pacific Rim. Maybe it's everything looking so bright and new and glorying in their militarism.
