I'm convinced that predictive text on my iPhone is getting progressively worse.

I mean, why would it change "and" to "ands" in the middle of a sentence?!

@andycarolan@social.lol It used to be based on what you type, but now it’s based on what everyone types. And those who type the most on their phones are teens, and they have their own special texting langage. Which is fine, just not when it’s sneakily inserted instead of what we old people type.

After I type my first name, I have to type the first four letters of my last name for it to appear in the suggestions. And it got a bit better, it now doesn’t suggest other people’s surnames before my own.
